• Regular parents meet cum counseling sessions are arranged in the premises of the center.

• Celebration of important events, days and festivals such as:-
Independent day, World Disabled Day, World Habitat Day, Republic Day, Gandhi Jayanti, New Year Day, Holi,Diwali,Chrismas Etc.

• Our children won many prizes in sports orgnised by Delhi special Olympic, as well as other concerning agency.Our children won many prizes in painting also, orgnised by Ministry of Housing and Urban poverty Alleviation, Government of India.

• Cleanliness Abhiyan and Tree Plantation Programmes were orgnised in the Centers premises and in the neighborhood with the help of Delhi Development Authorities.





The children/adults visited circus, Metro Ride courtesy Delhi Metro Rail Corporation, Delhi Zoo and places of National Heritage. They toured Chandigarh on invitation from Government Institute of Mentally Retarded Children Chandigarh, Amritsar on invitation of All India Pingalwara Charitable Society, Shimla on invitation of UDAAN Society of Parents of Mentally Handicapped Children, Goa on invitations of BITS Pilani Goa Campus and Daman on invitations of Rotory club Silvasa. Our children shared their views and cultural activities with those children/adults.

Our children sought Holi blessing from Dr.A.P.J.Abdul Kalam, President of India on 4-3-2007 in Rashtrapati Bhavan.

A regular winter residential camp is orgnised every year for the children/adults at Sarswati Bal Mandir School ‘L’ block Hari Nagar New Delhi with the help of community and management of school to enable them for independent living. About 70 children/adult had participated in the camp.

Our children also participated in drawing competition in Habitat Day organized by Ministry of Housing and urban Development and Poverty Alleviation Government of India .Our children/adults recieved many prizes in drawing competition in habitat day.





Regular vocational training with the help of professionally qualified staff is being imparted to the children in the following areas:-

1.   Candles making
2.   Envelope making
3.   Gardening and tree plantation
4.   Cutting and tailoring
5.   Knitting and weaving etc.
6.   Making the natural color from flowers
